Landscape or portrait: framing your studio duo

Choose an aspect ratio around the keyboard, the duo interaction and your intended viewing screen.

Landscape emphasizes the duo

16:9 suits a wide display and gives horizontal room to the two subjects and keyboard. It is a useful choice when both the keyboard player and partner need attention in the same frame. Watch a completed example rather than judging the composition from its cover image alone.

Portrait suits a vertical screen

9:16 suits a vertical phone screen, but the narrower frame makes subject placement and keyboard edges worth inspecting. Do not assume it preserves every spatial relationship from a landscape example. Choose the ratio before generation, then review the actual result; every gesture is not guaranteed to remain completely inside the frame.

Generation and cropping differ

Cropping a 16:9 output to 9:16 removes side content and may cut off the partner or gestures. Adding borders changes the presentation instead. If your destination clearly needs portrait, select 9:16 in the generator. Switching a setting does not alter a completed task; another generation requires credits.

Review the final frame

Check the beginning, middle and end, especially movements close to the frame edges. If you add captions later, avoid placing them over faces or the keyboard. Save the downloaded original before making a publishing version so that you retain a clean file if framing or compression needs another adjustment.
