480p, 720p or 1080p: choosing your output

Choose a resolution for your viewing needs and credit budget, and understand what higher resolution can change.

Start with the viewing context

480p is useful for an initial look at composition and rhythm. 720p balances resolution and credit use. 1080p is an option when you want to inspect more detail on a larger screen. Every option produces a 13-second clip. Consider the detail you need and your budget before choosing the highest resolution for a social post.

Budget per generation

480p uses 20 credits, 720p uses 45 and 1080p uses 80 per task. A 50-credit balance can fund two 480p generations with 10 left over, or one 720p generation with 5 left over. It cannot fund one 1080p task. Check the pricing page and your existing balance rather than relying on pack names.

Resolution cannot fix the reference

Higher resolution does not guarantee a fix for face drift, incorrect gestures or blurry source photos. Replace an obscured reference first. Buying more credits does not automatically upgrade a completed lower-resolution clip. Generating at another resolution creates a new result and uses credits again; the animation can also differ.

Inspect the downloaded file

Browser previews are affected by display size and playback conditions. Download the MP4 and watch it on the device you intend to use. Alongside sharpness, check cropping, movement and audio. Keep the original download so that repeated transfers and compression do not become part of your quality assessment.
